ROSEN is looking for a permanent full-time Quality & Best Practice Specialist based in Calgary. This position reports directly to the Head of Quality & Best Practice and will be part of the Quality, Best Practice & Training Team.
The Quality & Best Practice Specialist supports all ROSEN functions in all aspects of the Integrated Management System (IMS) as it relates to Quality and ISO 9001:2015, as well as leads or participates in continuous improvement projects with their expertise in continuous improvement methods and/or tools.

The Quality & Best Practice Specialist supports all ROSEN functions in all aspects of the Integrated Management System (IMS) as it relates to Quality and ISO 9001:2015, as well as leads or participates in continuous improvement projects with their expertise in continuous improvement methods and/or tools.
Responsibilities:
Quality
- Performs internal audits of the IMS Quality elements.
- Provides expertise on the ROSEN IMS Quality elements and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Guides and assists personnel to apply the ROSEN IMS in day-to-day activities.
- Leads or participates in Quality Incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Collects and analyzes data to monitor key performance indicators (KPI).
- Leads by example.
- Participates in or leads continuous improvement projects.
- Provides expertise on continuous improvement methods and/or tools.
- Guides and assists personnel to apply management of change and continuous improvement methods and/or tools.
- Plans, executes and closes assigned projects.
- Plans and executes day-to-day tasks.
- Interpersonal and team skills
- Continuous improvement and practical problem-solving skills and experience (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Creativity, Process and Analytical thinking skills
- Able to train, coach and mentor others
- Translate messages to fit the audience
- Able to apply project management techniques
- Presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate across all management and organizational levels
- Moderation, Auditing and Problem Analysis Skills, preferably Project Management and Team Leading skills
- Process and interface understanding/thinking, comprehension of complex contexts
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 Skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
- Must have valid work authorization in Canada
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline, Business Administration or Business Informatics
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Internal Auditor of a Quality Management System (QMS) certified as compliant to ISO 9001:2015.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience with ROSEN or in an industrial- or consulting company
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Experience in project management and group moderation
- Experience working with an integrated Management System an asset.
- Work experience in an industrial, service- or consulting company; multi-national company work expertise an asset
- Basic understanding of an ISO 9001 QMS or ROSEN’s IMS (organizational structure and processes)
- Basic understanding of ROSEN’s or general Integrity Engineering and/or In-line Inspection technology, technology, service and product portfolio an asset.
- Good knowledge of ROSEN’s internal business software environment and its functionalities.
