Project Details
- Contract duration First week of April to mid May
- Schedule 6/1 shift, 12 hour days. Schedule can also accommodate a 12/2 rotation if preferred.
- Fly in/Fly out of major Alberta hubs (Edmonton or Calgary)
- Responsible for the coordination, and administration of safety on project site.
- Responsible for carrying out inspections and audits of the workplace.
- Proactively promote our safety culture through toolbox meetings, and safety awareness.
- Knowledge of applicable safety rules and regulations; and be an effective negotiator, that uses logic and reason to persuade and influence others to find the solutions that everyone will accept.
- NCSO or CRST Professional Certification required.
- OHS Certification would be an asset but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field safety-related discipline.
- Heavy industrial operations experience is an asset.
- A proven track record in participation of safety management processes e.g. safety committees and working groups and heavy industrial auditing and inspection experience.
- You are an excellent planner, organizer, with refined interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated computer competency with Microsoft Office software.
