- Help create, improve, standardize and automate processes both human resources & operational for organizational procedures.

- Assist in the organization and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate on improving operational workflows in HR and Finance.
- Coordinate the submission and administration of time sensitive grant applications
- Provide general administrative support for the People & Culture and Operations teams in the day-to-day duties.
- Perform other related tasks as they arise.

- Minimum 1-2 years of coursework in business administration, commerce, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience or coursework in finance, accounting, operations management, or HR.
- Interest in automation and process improvement (e.g., Zapier, AI tools).
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective work relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite.
- Experience with process improvement or administrative project coordination is an asset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience with Generative AI, AI Powered tools & automation software including Power Automate.
- Compensation: The salary for this position will be based on the average co-op wages as outlined by your institution’s co-op program or similar institutions if specific data is unavailable, ensuring fair and competitive compensation aligned with industry and academic standards.
- Grant Eligibility: This position is made possible through wage subsidy grants such as BioTalent SWPP. As such, participants must be a current full-time student registered in a Canadian Post-secondary program. International students are not eligible. Eligible participants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada and be legally entitled to work.
