Job Description
We are looking for a Software Support Technician to join our IT team and provide support for the specialized software used in our engineering firm. This person will play a key role in the technical support of software from Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.), Bentley (MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenBridges, etc.), as well as other specialized software used by our design and engineering teams. This position is full-time, hybrid or face-to-face as required. It gives you the opportunity to work on varied and stimulating engineering projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment within a recognized engineering firm.

Job Description
We are looking for a Software Support Technician to join our IT team and provide support for the specialized software used in our engineering firm. Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Autodesk, Bentley and other specialized software tools
- Install, configure and update software and licenses
- Assist users in optimizing their work environment and best practices in software use
- Train users and raise their awareness of new functionalities and best practices (an asset)
- Participate in the evaluation and deployment of new software versions and updates
- Maintain a technology watch on specialized software and recommend improvements
- Degree in information technology, civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field
- Experience in technical support for design and engineering software (Autodesk, Bentley, etc.)
- Good understanding of 2D/3D modeling, BIM and CAD software concepts
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems quickly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with engineers, designers and technicians
- Autonomy and analytical skills to propose solutions adapted to user needs
