About The Position
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing components, securing vendor quotes, and creating a quote cost summary for each potential opportunity. Supporting all segments of the Sales process, while ensuring adherence to established pricing structure, and alignment with Organizational goals. This bilingual (English and French) role is integral to driving business growth, while enabling the Sales department to deliver on customer expectations and solidify relationships.

Job Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Working closely with the sales team to source products, solicit pricing and secure vendor quotes
- Create and maintain, opportunity specific, cost summaries
- Provide timely support to the Sales team in negotiations and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather required information and ensure quote accuracy
- Create or support development of Sales presentation materials
- Open-source research on customers, competitors, and scope of markets
- Engage in select direct customer interactions in both English and French, addressing inquiries, providing product information, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records, and take a lead role in maintenance and analysis of CRM software
- Track and report on sales activities, including sales pipelines, leads, conversions, revenue generation, and sales metrics to provide insights for decision-making.
- Oversee parts component sales by assisting in the identification of customer needs, preparing quotes, and facilitating order processing.
- Assist in all aspects of the Sales effort and participating in trade shows
- Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the sales leadership team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in addressing evolving business needs.
- Fluent in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience in quote creation, bid submissions, sales administration or related fields, preferably within a bilingual environment.
- Proven track record in preparing and managing quotes/proposals, preferably in a technical or manufacturing setting.
- Strong ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously.
- Effective in working cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering and other teams.
- Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing solutions to improve pricing and proposal processes.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools, ERP systems, and a high level of capability in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
