We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student Software Testing Intern to join our team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance, and development practices. You will work closely with our software development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products by identifying bugs, performing manual and automated tests, and assisting with the improvement of testing

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student Software Testing Intern to join our team. This role will provide an exciting opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance, and development practices. You will work closely with our software development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products by identifying bugs, performing manual and automated tests, and assisting with the improvement of testing
The Successful Candidate’s Responsibilities Will Include
- Assist in the creation and execution of test cases for web and standalone applications.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects and report them accurately.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
- Assist in setting up and running automated tests using testing frameworks.
- Help maintain testing documentation and track test results.
- Review and analyze requirements to ensure test cases cover all functional scenarios.
- Contribute to the development of testing strategies and improvements to testing processes.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and share insights.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with basic software testing principles.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Postman.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Gain practical experience in software testing and quality assurance.
