Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, HRIS to lead the strategic development, management, and optimization of our Human Resource Information Systems. In this role, you will oversee the integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of key HR systems, with a strong focus on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and NetSuite. The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with HR partners, IT, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration, continuous process improvement, and accurate data management across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • HRIS Strategy & Management
    • Develop and execute the HRIS strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
    • Provide leadership and vision to continuously improve HR system functionalities and drive innovation.
  • System Implementation & Integration
    • Oversee the successful implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the UKG Pro system and its interfaces, as well as other non-UKG systems within the overall HRIS platform.
    • Ensure seamless integration with NetSuite and other business systems to optimize data flow, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Manage and mentor the HRIS Analyst, ensuring effective performance, professional development, and team collaboration.
  • Data Management & Analytics
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HRIS platforms.
    • Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making while reducing manual reporting efforts.
  • Process Improvement & Project Management
    • Lead HRIS projects from requirement gathering through testing and deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, process efficiency, enhanced operational performance, and improved system security.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and implement improvements that meet both process and system requirements.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Act as the primary liaison with HRIS vendors (including UKG and NetSuite) and external partners to ensure timely resolution of issues and implementation of system enhancements.
    • Work closely with HR, IT, Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits teams to troubleshoot system issues and ensure data accuracy (e.g., benefits deductions, status changes, compensation, and time/attendance).
  • Compliance & Best Practices
    • Ensure all HRIS operations comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR technology to proactively recommend enhancements and system improvements.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HRIS management or related roles, with proven expertise in UKG systems (including UKG Pro) and experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage system integrations, implementations, and data analytics projects.
  • Excellent project management skills and a track record of leading successful cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in HR data analysis, reporting tools, and HR metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with IT, HR partners, Payroll, and other departments to achieve business objectives.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications in HR or Information Systems.
  • Experience with cloud-based HR solutions and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
