Responsibilities

Brand Building and Marketing:

  • Support Sr Brand Manager in development of Brand Plan and annual Marketing Plan
  • Develop and execute 360 plans including go to market strategies, advertising and media plans. Own tactical executions with agency partners.
  • Lead planning, execution and measurement of account specific Shopper Marketing programs aimed at growing categories as well as our Royale brand.
  • Work closely with Sales, Category and Shopper Development to drive growth with retailers.
  • Manage budgets effectively ensuring programs are delivering to objectives.
  • Execute packaging development and product launch plans including, item/go-pif set ups, artwork tracking, GS1 set up
  • Project manager for new products including launches and transitions.

Agency & Cross functional Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with external agency partners to drive brand strategy and associated tactics, including writing & presenting briefs, and associated ROI trackers for consumer, shopper programs and executions.
  • Support sales team with brand news and strategies to for key account plans.
  • Integration with shopper marketing programs and ecommerce / online executions.
  • Project manager for new products including launches and transitions. Includes working with Supply Chain, Sales and Product Development to execute plans on time and in budget.

Analytics and Insights:

  • Use Nielsen & POS to assist in understanding trends along with deep dives for opportunities and insights and report writing
  • Leverage research insights to inform business issues/ opportunities.
  • Understand retail, and competitive environment to support analytics and strategic business decisions and inform business issues/opportunities.
  • Improve effectiveness by doing campaign post-mortems and ROI analyses.

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally in CPG with experience in brand and marketing strategy and execution
  • Strong communication skills
  • Action oriented and takes initiative, results driven.
  • Proven success as project manager and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable leading and collaborating as part of cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to navigate new and ambiguous situations with solution mind-set.
  • Solid understanding of the Canadian retailers landscape. Experience with retailer media (i.e. LCL media, Walmart connect) is an asset.
  • Experience working with agencies is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Nielsen data analysis is an asset.
