Position Summary

Haventree is looking for a skilled front-end software engineer to design and build amazing web experiences for our customers. In this senior role, you will not only be responsible for delivering high-quality responsive web experience but also for leading technical discussions, setting standards, and mentoring other engineers. You will be expected to lead full-cycle frontend software development, advising on technical design, reviewing code, and driving best practices across the team. As a senior engineer, you'll be proactive in identifying areas for improvement, proposing innovative solutions, and ensuring the maintainability and scalability of the codebase. You'll consider testability, upgradeability, scalability, and observability throughout the development process.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React, ensuring scalability and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of APIs to collaborate effectively with server-side engineers and contribute to API design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on React
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience with state management, test framework and DevOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Start-up experience as an added plus
