WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Audit all employee change transactions by comparing supporting documents to the transaction acknowledgment form to UKG (Payroll System).
  • Review, reconcile and process various programs including but not exclusive to Group Retirement, Group Benefit, and WCB reporting.
  • Provide guidance on payroll matters to the internal People & Culture Team.
  • Process Payroll for both Semi-Monthly (Salaried Employees) and Bi-Weekly (Hourly Employees) schedules.
  • Review and reconcile various upload files to UKG, including but not exclusive to time files, incentive files, and reporting.
  • Issue ROEs, T-4 slips, T2200, W2, and other tax-related documents.
  • Run payroll time-related reports for various department needs.
  • We are a flexible and proactive team, readily taking on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.


WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Previous experience in payroll administration is highly preferred, with an understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and related systems.
  • Can work efficiently, and independently and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Preference for candidates with Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation, Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), or Fundamental Payroll Compliance (FPC).
  • Experience with UltiPro (UKG) is highly beneficial.
