Position: Class 5 Delivery Driver - (Team 11 - Delta)

Schedule: 4 X 10 | Floater | Day Shift (4am start)

Position Overview

The Class 5 Delivery Driver will work all aspects and responsibilities of the role, including, but not limited to customer service, pre / post trip, safety and company policies, procedures and practices. In addition, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience to become a Class 1 Local Delivery Driver.

Duties And Responsibilities

This position will provide opportunities to learn the correct offloading of product from the vehicle, recording of delivery information, accepting payment (no cash) for goods when required, and ensuring overall vehicle safety. Upon completion of the training program, the Class 5 Delivery Driver will be expected to operate the delivery vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 license or higher with a clean driver’s abstract is required
• Ability to lift up to 60-80 pounds frequently
• Strong customer service skills
• Meets or exceeds current role’s performance expectations
• High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic
• Professional demeanor under stressful situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision; must be self-directed
