WSP is seeking a Senior Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineer for one of our Atlantic Canada offices: Dartmouth and Sydney, NS; Fredericton, NB; Moncton, NB; Summerside, PEI; St. John’s, NL. This exciting role entails supporting a dedicated team and spearheading a diverse range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Atlantic Canada. What you can expect to do here:
- You will provide technical guidance on all aspects of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from planning and design to implementation and commissioning.
- You will be mentoring and on-the-job training for junior and intermediate colleagues.
- You will be an ambassador of building relationships with clients within Atlantic Canada, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- You will be driving innovation and creativity in developing water and wastewater treatment and pumping solutions.
- You will work in collaboration with our water treatment group and other related groups in Canada and across North America;
- You will prepare and design technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings, including review of deliverables regarding water/wastewater pumping, treatment and/or storage projects.
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering from an accredited University.
- Registration in good standing as Professional Engineer in NS, NB, PEI, NL, and/or eligibility to be registered in each of these provinces.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment, pumping and/or storage, encompassing planning, design, and successful commissioning of projects.
- Demonstrated communication (written & verbal) and collaboration skills with clients and general public
- Be a natural team player, exhibiting an exceptional ability to collaborate and engage harmoniously with colleagues across all levels of the organization, fostering a cohesive and cohesive National Business environment.
