The Magog Engineering team is looking for a new Mechanical Project Manager for cost reduction projects. Would you like to contribute to the design of equipment that changes lives? We'd love to hear from you!
The challenges:
- Ensure the management of various engineering projects such as product maintenance, quality improvement, cost reduction and regulatory compliance;
- Participate in the process of transferring new products to production;
- Ensure the link with the other departments for the projects he or she coordinates;
- Manage timelines for ongoing projects;
- Coordinate laboratory testing required in the performance of its work;
- Ensure adequate documentation of each project under its responsibility.
- University degree in mechanical engineering combined with 0 - 5 years of experience related to the position;
- Fluency in French (5/5) and English (4/5), you will frequently be required to communicate with other R&D sites to share best practices related to your projects ;
- Sense of organization, initiative, autonomy;
- Good analytical skills and ability to work in a team;
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes;
- Ability to manage/plan projects;
- Asset: work in a regulated environment (medical, aeronautics, automotive);
- Availability to travel abroad occasionally.
