Minimum Requirements:
Suncor's operations include oil sands development, production and upgrading; offshore oil and gas; petroleum refining in Canada and the U.S.; and the company's Petro-Canada retail and wholesale distribution networks (including Canada's Electric Highway, a coast-to-coast network of fast-charging electric vehicle stations).

Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary education program for 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering
- A proven safety and environmental mindset
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- An aptitude to continually seek knowledge and understanding; you strive to understand the systems, processes, and hazards in and around the workplace
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Perform pad operation duties for safe and efficient operations and ensure shift changes are well communicated
- Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs
- Perform routine operating tasks such as monitoring levels, pressures, and temperatures
- Perform basic troubleshooting and initiate repairs or requests for repairs when required
- Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance
- You will work out of our Firebag site on a fly-in, fly-out schedule; 7 days in, 7 days off
- You will be working a rotating 12-hour shift schedule
- This role will not provide steam time if working towards your steam ticket
