Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining. We’re experts in all infrastructure construction and maintenance related projects. Our vast projects include: full-scale contract mining, earthworks, foundations, highways, bridges, roads, waterways and resources, airports, rapid transit, underground utilities, pipelines, independent power projects and site reclamation.

Essential Responsibilities
- Review, understand, and follow all safe work practices and procedures
- Recognizes existing and potential hazards and knows how to identify these through conducting a Field Level Hazard Assessment (FLHA)
- Performs daily inspections and walkarounds, completing logbooks, and ensures good housekeeping of all equipment
- Effectively and safely operates 777 and/or 785 sized haul trucks
- Operate the haul trucks as specified in the scope of work including positioning at a loading unit, travelling mine haul roads, and dumping to dozers
- Operates in crowded, fast-paced working environments, and exercises extreme caution with awareness of potential situational hazards to ensure site safety
- Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and acts accordingly
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating rigid frame haul trucks on a heavy civil and/or mining environment
- Must have experience operating 777 and/or 785 sized haul trucks. Experience operating 40T and or 60T sized articulated haul trucks is an asset.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50lbs and climb in and out of equipment on a regular basis
- Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Must have a valid Driver's License and a clear driver's abstract
- Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment is considered an asset.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or industry courses in heavy equipment operating is considered an asset.
- Previous experience completing reclamation projects and working in muskeg is considered an asset.
