Operates and maintains company tractor/trailer/tanker to make pickups and deliveries with a targeted work week. Transports hazardous materials in full compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Position requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. Inspects vehicle for accurate and safe operating conditions before and after each trip. Must maintain a MTO driver's log and adhere to all MTO regulations.

Operates and maintains company tractor/trailer/tanker to make pickups and deliveries with a targeted work week. Transports hazardous materials in full compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. Position requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. Inspects vehicle for accurate and safe operating conditions before and after each trip. Must maintain a MTO driver's log and adhere to all MTO regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Pick-up and delivery of materials, complete inspections and paperwork associated with materials pickup transport.
- Ensure safety and compliance of load.
- Use onboard e-Logging Device handle accurate driver duty statuses and planned freight order delivery routing sequencing.
- Apply ePOD device to accurately collect customer delivery receipt of goods and other relevant shipment documents.
- Perform all other duties as required to make accurate deliveries and pick-ups for customers.
- Ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English.
- Valid Class A-Z license
- Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment, as needed.
- 2+ years of A-Z driving experience.
- High school Diploma required
- Experience operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (e.g., highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
- Hauling hazardous products (e.g., transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments, etc.)
- Physical ability to lift and carry at least 55 pounds
- Ability to tilt back or break 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly
- Physical ability to sit/stand and walk for long periods
