Job Description

Architecture49 is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Construction Contract Administrator to join our GTA team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and travel to conduct site visits throughout Southern Ontario, attend site meetings, oversee site activities and provide quality control.
  • Living near the London area is considered an asset as we have a multi-year industrial contract in the area that to is be administered
  • Assisting with project progress and site reports
  • Assist with shop drawings, answering Contractor requests for information and issuing contract changes
  • Assist with quality control/constructability reviews on drawings and specifications
  • Collaborating and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team


Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects
  • Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of codes, and familiarity with Ontario construction practices
  • Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training considered an asset
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam and Adobe Reader
