Our client is a Canadian Engineering Consulting firm that specializes in managing structural building projects within Institutional (hospitals/laboratories), Residential (condominium, retirement) and Commercial (retail/offices), and Mission Critical.
With 15+ years' project experience, the Project Director will be responsible for building, growing, and leading a team of Project Managers. In addition, responsibilities also include extending the portfolio of clientele in the Nova Scotia market by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
Required
Expertise in performing detailed seismic/gravity and building condition assessments of existing buildings for the purpose of upgrading or renovation.
Experience utilizing Canadian building codes (Nova Scotia) for the design of building structures comprised of structural steel, wood, and cast-in-place concrete.
