About The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Tank Truck Technician to join our fabrication team. Our Fabrication Division specializes in repairing fuel and propane trucks and trailers and is based out of London Ontario. This is a full-time day shift. About The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Tank Truck Technician to join our fabrication team. Our Fabrication Division specializes in repairing fuel and propane trucks and trailers and is based out of London Ontario. This is a full-time day shift. (M-T, 7:00-4:30, F, 7:00-3:15) Reporting to the Shop Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Complete tanker inspections & test reports
- Fuel/Propane tank truck & trailer repair, refurbish and assemble new units
- The ability to troubleshoot & repair 12vdc lighting, electrical, pneumatics & hydraulic systems
- Repair, replace PTO’s pumps, meters, hose reels, piping, manifolds, hoses and nozzles
- Installation & troubleshooting electronic metering & communication systems
- Plasma & torch cutting, drilling & saw cutting, some welding MIG &TIG
- Material handling
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Mechanically inclined
- Good attitude and willing to learn and take direction
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift heavy objects
- A dedication to safety culture
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under, on top & inside of tanker trucks
- Mechanics roller toolbox & tools required
- Experience in welding or mechanics is an asset
