What you will do:

You will provide administrative and analytical support to the Research & Insights team.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help the team develop, socialize, and champion relevant guest insights across the Cineplex ecosystem, including Theatrical and LBE (Location Based Entertainment – The Rec Room and Playdium), based on both ongoing studies and ad-hoc research.
  • Assist in managing the customer satisfaction measurement programs (Voice of the Guest) and other on-going tracking studies, such as brand tracking.
  • Assist with connecting multiple sources of data (such as survey responses and transactional data) to analyze and develop holistic insights about the guest experience and opportunity areas.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and improving monthly reporting to provide timely and relevant guest satisfaction updates and opportunities to our Theatrical and LBE business units.
  • Support with ad-hoc quantitative and qualitative research studies, working with the team to support strategic decision making including providing task management, execution, and methodological recommendations to help with research planning and analysis.
  • Assist the team with analyzing and socializing broader consumer trends within the environment, gathering information from multiple sources including our social listening tool, trend reports, etc.

Education & Certification

  • University/College degree in Business, Analytics, Management, Social Sciences or related discipline.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years within the Market Research industry with responsibility for handling complex projects from inception to completion.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • A passion for conducting consumer research, analyzing data, and uncovering insights that help inform business decisions and strategy.
  • Ability to proactively identify customer and brand needs, synthesize data and effectively communicate research findings across the organization that will be incorporated into overall business and marketing strategy.
  • Strong skills with data visualization and data reporting in software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in research tools such as Qualtrics or Alida is an asset.
  • Ability to present relevant insights to a range of stakeholders, including Senior Management.
  • Comfortable managing and enhancing research vendor relationships.
  • The ability to interact in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism, remaining flexible, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Strong interest in taking a hands-on role with senior members of the team. Excitement to be included in decision-making and thought leadership in the organization.
  • Ability to understand and appreciate research findings. Comfortable interpreting data analyses and writing reports.
  • Display excellent abilities to communicate with colleagues about progress of project goals, as well as to predict and respond to roadblocks.
