Echo NDE is currently seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States.

Position Details
Echo NDE is currently seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities
- Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods.
- Ability to perform various examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines.
- Review of pipeline integrity inspection report, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain inspection equipment.
- Conducts inspections on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.
- Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
- Assist with various other inspection tasks.
- Organize and report inspection results & communicate results to the responsible engineer.
- Interpret, process, and correlate inline inspection data.
- Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
- CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UTII) certificate.
- CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MTII) certificate.
- PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the pipeline industry and, more specifically, pipeline integrity inspections required.
- Ability to manage and organize large and varied amounts of data.
- Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
- Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
- Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
- Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
- Able to work well within a team environment.
