Responsabilities

  • Growth at Regional Level: Drive growth initiatives and performance improvements across the region.
  • Lead Prime & Peak capacity planning cycle.
  • Push FSA Boundaries: Innovate and expand Forward Sortation Area (FSA) initiatives.
  • Develop Budget Opportunities: Identify and develop opportunities for budget optimization and financial planning.
  • Cost Reduction at Regional Level: Implement strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency at the regional level.
  • Seek/Identify Vendor Innovation: Identify and leverage innovative solutions from vendors to improve operations.
  • Identify health and safety opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Improve IDC Profitability: Enhance the profitability of Independent Delivery Contractors (IDC) through strategic initiatives.
  • IDC Sustainability Support/Compliance: Ensure sustainability practices and compliance within IDCs.
  • IDC Top Performer Collaboration: Foster collaboration among top-performing IDCs to share best practices.
  • Push Innovative Delivery Solutions: Drive the implementation of innovative delivery solutions to improve service efficiency.
  • Partner with Product/Sales on Innovation: Collaborate with product and sales teams to drive innovation and improve offerings.
  • MD Succession Planning: Develop and execute succession plans for Managing Directors (MD).
  • SOP Innovation: Innovate and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Innovation in Station Operations: Foster innovation within station operations to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Provide Service Center Ongoing Visibility: Ensure continuous visibility and monitoring of service center performance.
  • Foster an Employer of Choice Culture: Promote a positive work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Understand and Pivot to Market Trends: Stay informed about market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Expose ROMs to a Diversity of Service Center Roles: Provide Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) with exposure to various service center roles.
  • Engage on Key Customer Account Reviews: Participate in key customer account reviews to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service.
  • Evangelize Empathy: Promote empathy and understanding within the team to enhance customer and employee relations.
  • Be a Community Champion: Actively engage in community initiatives and promote the company's presence and impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
  • Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Ability to analyze and improve KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of SOPs and audit processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with IDC operations and business models.
  • Experience with innovative delivery and product implementation.
  • Knowledge of competitive analysis and market trends.
