About The Opportunity
LRO Staffing is assisting our client in the search for a highly skilled Bilingual Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives. This role is ideal for a professional with exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in unionized or political environments.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide executive administrative support to senior leaders, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, arranging travel, and maintaining confidential records
- Draft, edit, and format a variety of documents in both English and French, including correspondence, reports, agendas, and minutes
- Organize and manage meetings, conference calls, and events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met
- Coordinate translation of documents and ensure adherence to organizational policies
- Maintain efficient filing systems while safeguarding sensitive and confidential information
- Support special programs, awards, and committees by preparing reports and tracking action items
- Assist with the planning and execution of conventions and other large-scale events, providing on-site support when needed
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all times
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an executive or senior administrative role, preferably within a unionized or political environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French, with strong proficiency in grammar and vocabulary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Contract Duration: Two months, with the potential for extension.
- Hourly Rate: $44.00 - $49.00 per hour.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with two days per week in-office at the organization’s Ottawa headquarters.
- Parking: Available, with 50% of costs covered.
