Occupational Therapist

Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Full-Time) - QuickStart Nova Scotia

Autism Nova Scotia is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our QuickStart Nova Scotia team. In this role, you’ll provide parent-mediated coaching and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) interventions for toddlers with autism across the Northern and Eastern zones of Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person and online OT consultations to families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement ESDM-based services.
• Support parents in developing communication, social, and daily living skills for their children.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure with COTNS.
• 3+ years of experience working with children, preferably having experience working with autistic children.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel.
