About Our Opportunity
In this role, you will be working in a dynamic environment to help ensure equitable and accessible services are available to children, youth and their families across our province. The successful candidate will report to the Director of SchoolsPlus- Integrated Services Division of the Student Equity and Support Services Branch.
As a Clerk 3, you will provide a broad range of administrative support and provide the first point of contact for the public and clients of SchoolsPlus/Integrated Services. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects, organizing information and providing regular communication to support the scope of integrated work happening within the Branch in collaboration with multiple government departments and entities, Regional Centers for Education/Conseil scolaire acadien provincial, and community-based organizations.

- Maintain accurate records and coordinate tasks and scheduling for complex projects
- Prepare reports from statistical and financial sources
- Conduct analysis of data and information and communicate with both internal and external partners
- Coordinate and attend a range of events to support professional learning and integrated practice
- Provide a broad range of administrative support services.
As the successful Clerk 3, you will have four years' related experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. You also possess:
- You are proficient using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and web-based platforms), have strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal).
- You have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and learning new skills to compliment your existing competencies.
- You are flexible and open to innovative approaches to supporting partners.
- You work well independently, and in team environments,
- You can build productive relationships with non-governmental and governmental members (both internally and externally).
- When dealing with clients, you exercise tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
- An ability to prioritize complex and competing requests, ensuring critical deadlines are met
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience maintaining websites and communication materials
- An approach to working that places inherent value on children, youth and families
- A desire to thrive in a diverse workplace with a focus on equity
- Knowledge of the Education and Early Child Development Sector
- Bilingualism
- Knowledge of programs and services offered to children, youth and families across government departments and entities, community-based programs.

- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- A two-year certificate/diploma in a related field plus two years of related experience
- A one-year certificate/diploma in a related field plus three years of related experience
