Transportation Engineering Lead - Halifax

As we continue to grow our business and enhance our service offerings locally, we are eagerly seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Transportation Engineer to join our Halifax team.
In this role, you will have the ability to collaborate seamlessly with EXP’s multidisciplinary team from across our six (6) Atlantic Canadian offices on some of region’s most exciting infrastructure projects! If desired, you will also be given the opportunity to work on some very unique and challenging projects from across North America.

Transportation Engineering Lead - Halifax

Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the pursuit and execution of a wide range of transportation engineering projects including functional planning studies, road safety assessments, traffic impact studies, active transportation studies, parking studies, and design of urban and rural transportation facilities.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Engage with a variety of public and private stakeholders.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior staff.
- Collaborate with other multidisciplinary project team members.
- Ensure that project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering considered an asset.
- P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) from Engineers NS.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
