Job Description
We are seeking a Pension QA & Data Analyst to join our BPA team in Mississauga, ON.
The Pension QA & Data Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of pension-related data, as well as providing analytical support for pension plan administration. This role involves working closely with pension legislations and processes, and performing quality assurance testing.

We are seeking a Pension QA & Data Analyst to join our BPA team in Mississauga, ON.
The Pension QA & Data Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of pension-related data, as well as providing analytical support for pension plan administration. This role involves working closely with pension legislations and processes, and performing quality assurance testing.
The Pension QA & Data Analyst will:
- Perform comprehensive quality checks on pension data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify data discrepancies and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with pension plan administrators to ensure data is correctly structured and compliant with pension regulations.
- Design and execute test cases to validate pension calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to business and legislative requirements.
- Document test results, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for testing procedures, data validation, and reporting processes.
- Participate in process reviews and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors in pension data processing.
- Collaborate effectively with Pension Administrators, Analysts, and Managers on a daily basis, while also working cooperatively with colleagues across various administrative departments including IT, benefits, accounting, and disability.
- Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience working with pension legislations and processes is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and standard office administration procedures.
- Intermediate to Expert MS Excel skills (formatting, build/interpret pension calculators, data analysis functions).
- Intermediate to Expert MS Word skills (formatting, word merge and conditional wording).
- Fluency in both French and English.
- 2-3 years of professional experience with pension administration or pension software.
- Knowledge and professional experience working with Power Bi, Tableau, and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
