The impact you'll make:
As the Senior Art Director, Brand you can imagine, ideate, design and execute the building of the unique Saje brand world through channel agnostic platforms and channel specific executions that continue to push our modern, functional brand of wellness forward for new consumers curious about plant-powered solutions to remedy real life.
Ideally an Art Director / Designer hybrid, you are equally versed in design systems and their application through the funnel, as you are with high-concept creative and can lead everything from motion to photoshoots with an unflappable adherence to the brand platform, codes and cues. You have experience ideating omni-channel campaigns but can also independently manage their execution from beginning to end, understanding production timelines and process to delivery.
You are passionate about new and innovative ways of working, have a killer knowledge and bench strength in executing high-crafted content in addition to socially native work. A maker at heart, you’re just as comfortable working with production partners as you are picking up a camera to help create work. You understand best practices for all paid channels and organic social and can easily and quickly move with agility between them.
You will help maintain and innovate the brand experience through all visual mediums within the Saje world - from motion to stills, retail to pop-ups, programmatic to performance, and you will work to elevate the visual tone, appearance, functionality, and overall aesthetic of our brand platform, while ensuring the creative vision of the brand is consistent.
All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

The compensation range for this position is from $85,000- 100,000 annually. Base pay is dependent to market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Other components of our total rewards offerings include:

What you'll do:
- Ideate, strategize and conceptualize campaign and brand related work in partnership with the Design Director, ACD senior writers.
- Manage projects, end-to-end, from ideation to execution seamlessly, keeping in mind the north star of the brand, visual toolkit and best practices.
- Bring to the table forward thinking ideas that can punch above their weight to make Saje famous.
- Forge strong cross-functional relationships for a thorough understanding of asset requirements.
- Prepare internal presentations to pitch concepts and designs, solicit feedback, build stakeholder consensus, and secure Digital/Creative/Marketing approval.
- Elevating Saje’s aesthetic and level of craft: typography, communication, and layout design as we continue to refresh this amazing brand.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specification and help to mentor and guide more junior members of the team.
- Maintain a strong awareness of industry trends, killer creative campaigns, and the competitive landscape.
- 6 - 8 years of experience in like role, either in-agency or brand-side.
- A killer portfolio that demonstrates your strategic and creative thinking through omni-channel, full funnel examples.
- Experience working in brand platforms, design systems and executing work through to production.
- Fluent in innovation, trends, and high design when it comes to the application of brand through digital channels.
- Knowledge of Adobe CS Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, along with Figma.
- Understanding of new digital trends and tech innovations to create and produce work more efficiently.
- Solution-oriented, positive, and curious - you don't hesitate to roll up your sleeves to get it done.
- While category experience isn’t a necessity, ideally you've worked on a beauty, retail, cpg, health, or wellness brand.
