Your Responsibilities
- T echnically oversee, coordinate, review, and design various smart building projects.
- Collaborate within a team to design smart building systems across different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential).
- Establish contact with clients to fully understand their needs and requirements.
- Conduct site surveys of existing installations and analyze their condition.
- Design, adapt, and optimize building-related installations.
- Develop new smart building systems and improve existing ones.
- Perform pre-project assessments and provide tailored recommendations.
- Prepare technical documents (reports, specifications, cost estimates, etc.).
- Provide technical assistance during the design and implementation phases of projects.
- Support site supervision and project follow-up.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Mechanics, Automation, or a related field. (Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is a strong asset.)
- Experience: Relevant experience in designing, coordinating, and/or commissioning smart building or building automation systems.
- Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of smart building systems and related technologies.
- Ability to conduct technical surveys, analyze existing installations, and draft technical documents (reports and specifications).
- General Skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a client-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve technical problems.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.
- Languages: Proficiency in French (spoken and written) English is an asset.
