Overview

This position for a RFP Administrator is to be based out of Ottawa and will work remotely. We are a high-growth company that commands creative thinking. In this Role, You Will:

Initially, the role will involve responding to and coordinating the responses of Solace subject matter experts to requests for proposals, documents and information from Solace customers and prospective customers. The successful candidate will:

• work closely with Solace account managers (AMs) and sales/solution engineers (SEs) to answer questionnaires,
• coordinate responses with Solace subject matter experts (SMEs) in finance, human resources, legal, cybersecurity, IT, product support, R&D, and other areas,
• utilize existing libraries and databases of information and documents to answer as many requests as possible (thereby limiting the number of questions to be answered by the SMEs),
• have experience working with Salesforce and be keen to use the SAAS tool that Solace utilizes to assist with responding to RFPs and other requests for information (RFPIO).
• create, maintain and update a response library in RFPIO. Coordinator is the owner of this SAAS tool and getting value from it.
• Interact with customer Supplier Portals to provide responses

• Security questionnaires
• Data protection questionnaires
• RFP supporting docs for SEs
• Miscellaneous RFIs insurance certificate requests
• tax certificate requests
• bank documents
• Supplier onboarding questionnaires and forms

Desired Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will be creative, motivated and curious to learn about the Solace business, enjoy working with Solace teammates to put forward our best response to Solace customers and prospective customers. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the team of Solace staff that help to close new customers, new business orders and renewal orders.
