YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for an HR Administrator for a 12-month contract position to support both the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams in delivering a variety of key programs and initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll play a vital role in executing HR and recruitment-related administrative processes with efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong focus on delivering a positive and professional experience to employees and leaders alike.
This position is based out of our Surrey, BC office and requires on-site presence 2–3 days per week.

At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $50,000-55,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.

YOUR IMPACT
- Coordinate the onboarding process and related follow-up activities, including issuing onboarding documents, creating employee folders, coordinating equipment, scheduling orientation meetings, and answering onboarding questions
- Support and administer the employee education program, service awards, referral program, and corporate wellness initiatives
- Draft referral bonus letters, milestone certificates, employment confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence, as required
- Conduct references, coordinate pre-employment assessments and background checks
- Schedule phone screens and interviews as directed by the Talent Acquisition Specialists through UKG Pro
- Support the HR team with administering employment lifecycle changes in UKG Pro as required
- Update scorecards (job descriptions) and job postings as directed
- Monitor and action requests from employees & leaders via Jira ServiceDesk in adherence with established SLA’s
- Respond to general employee inquiries and escalate to Senior HR Business Partner, as required
- Update and maintain employee electronic files
- Complete other duties as assigned
First 30 Days
- Conduct 1-on-1 “getting to know you” meetings with members of the Human Resources team
- Have a sound understanding of the People Strategy
- Complete Employee Administration and Recruitment & Onboarding training courses in UKG Pro
- Review and understand HR Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
- Have a sound understanding of the full employee life cycle
- Have a sound understanding of the complete recruitment process
- Assume responsibility for the administration of HR programs (employee education, referral, wellness, etc.)

- 1-2 years experience in an administrative Human Resources focused role, or similar experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, or related field
- Experience administering an HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is an asset, UKG Pro / UltiPro preferred
- Working towards CPHR considered an asset
- Experience working and thriving in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, )
- Comfortable and competitive compensation.
