As the Procurement Analyst, your job will be to coordinate and execute change implementation, working closely with other local and regional functions to successfully deploy Supply Chain business objectives. GFL is fast paced and entrepreneurial driven, and you must be prepared to balance local/regional decision making with corporate oversite and best practices. The Procurement Analyst is the key contact and liaison for all internal and external inquiries related to acquisitions and inquiries for vendor accounts and supports the Procurement team with research and data analysis. Through a collaborative process involving staff, vendors, category managers and internal stake holders, the Procurement Analyst is responsible for communicating research findings as well as any potential improvements to procurement or processes throughout the organization, its facilities, operations, and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for assisting with research, reconciliations, reporting, and additional processes and projects within the Procurement Department.
- Assist the Procurement Team with vendor account clean up and requesting AP Exceptions
- Leading and completing data analysis and additional projects for internal customers as needed
- Assisting with contract management within the department
- Establish good mutually supportive relationships with other Procurement team members and departments, through formal and informal networking.
- Tracking and reporting on daily activities within the group to ensure tasks are completed and all accounts are in good standing.
- Assisting with training and on-boarding of new team members.
- Work with your peers to ensure that key stakeholders receive consistent messages.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, high energy, and commitment within the team.

- Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage (Workday ERP).
- Integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive procurement information.
- Bachelor's degree or 4-year University degree
- 3-5 years’ experience managing vendor relationships
