The Senior Manager, Partnership Development is accountable for the growth and acceleration Enterprise-level partnerships. They will work to acquire partners across the Globe who will leverage Staples Canada’s considerable capabilities and footprint in the Canadian marketplace, driving new revenue streams and maximizing return on our investments. To achieve role objectives, the incumbent will work collaboratively internally with the broader Enterprise Services team and cross-functional stakeholders, and externally with Partner stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. The incumbent with oversee Partner acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management with the goal of maximizing partner value and delivering on program financial goals.

The incumbent with oversee Partner acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management with the goal of maximizing partner value and delivering on program financial goals.
Specifically, You Will
- Develop a strategy to target prospective partners that accelerate partner acquisition to plan.
- Execute against a comprehensive partner development plan to drive achievement of revenue and win goals.
- Build deep relationships with partner prospects across the Globe and promote Staples Canada’s capabilities in the Canadian marketplace.
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions via selling tools with rich content that bring to life Staples Canada’s positioning that help advance opportunities with prospects.
- Execute this plan while working with key internal stakeholders, including Print Solutions (Business), Technical Services, Telecom Digital Product team (IT), Analytics team, Print Production, and Sales Enablement team to understand technical build-out.
- Own senior-level executive relationships at partner locations.
- Engage, educate, collaborate, and problem solve with external partners at all levels of the organization.
- Develop and drive joint go-to-market business plans with strategic partners, including quarterly business reviews.
- Lead Account Management strategies including ongoing engagement of contacts and partners at various functional levels to educate, build, close, manage, and grow these relationships.
- Maintain and execute relationships at all levels of the company and lead the rhythm of the delivery on individual Partnership deal requirements.
- Post-secondary education.
- Track record of developing sustainable new business.
- Experience with large data sets and ability to extract business insights from analysis.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape.
- Solid stakeholder management skills, both for internal and external stakeholders.
- 5-7 years previous experience.
- Strong sales and/or business development experience.
- Ideally has direct field experience working with ecommerce players in the creator marketplace and/or print-on-demand arenas.
