About The Team
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with significant experience on the ServiceNow platform to lead the design, development, and governance of our ServiceNow ecosystem and related systems/integrations. As part of the IT Application Excellence team within Corporate IT, the ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, ensuring the solutions align with enterprise IT strategy, drives innovation, and supports business objectives. This role involves working closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to maximize the value of ServiceNow capabilities.
In collaboration with business analysts, you will be responsible for gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing existing software solutions to identify areas of improvement, and supporting development teams. As a Solution Architect, you are able to integrate updated application specifications and requirements into the solution architecture and be able to explain complex technical problems to management in layman’s terms. Initial scope of work will focus on ServiceNow with growth and expansion opportunities to apply solution architecture leadership on other major platforms.

About The Team

W hat you will do
- Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and IT service management strategies.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Lead critical, tactical and strategic conversations with vendors/partners to align the platform roadmap with Kinaxis strategic objectives.
- Oversee integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
- Establish and enforce best practices for ServiceNow development, security, and governance.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow features and applications, recommending adoption strategies.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams and administrators for business solutions.
- Drive automation, AI/ML adoption, and continuous improvement within the platform.
- Monitor platform performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance.
- Perform business impact analysis when new technology is evaluated.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to identify information procedures and data flows within the business solution.
- Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application sub-systems, to external systems and between new and existing systems.
- Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
- Assist with identification and documentation of system specific standards relating to programming, documentation and testing, program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions etc.

- Kantata Professional Services Cloud
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Master’s degree in computer science, Systems Science or Software Engineering (preferred).
- 8 to 10 years of functional/professional experience focused on ServiceNow Platform architecture and implementation.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) (preferred), ITIL v4 (preferred).
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, CSM, SecOps, and App Engine.
- Proven experience designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other integration methods.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholder and work with 3rd party implementers while leading, managing, and mentoring technical teams to delivery solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience with the ability to lead a workshop or small or medium scale training course).
