Our Marketing Department is looking for a Sales Development Representative in Saint John, New Brunswick. At Bicom Systems, you’ll work in an environment that values respect and work-life balance, while collaborating with talented colleagues from around the globe. In this role, you will represent Bicom System's solutions. Working with other team members, you will generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects as well as cold-calling to find new potential sales outlets!


What your day will look like:

  • Identify and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels, acting as the first point of contact in the customer journey;
  • Support presales efforts by gathering key information to prepare leads for Account Managers;
  • Suggest relevant outbound opportunities;
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of CRM data in Salesforce and our internal CRM system by performing regular updates and audits;
  • Track and maintain leads throughout the entire sales funnel using standardized processes;
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team and Account Managers to optimize lead generation, scoring, and transfer protocols;
  • Analyze lead behavior and campaign performance, sharing actionable insights and feedback with Marketing and Sales Departments;
  • Execute weekly and monthly lead reports and assist in tracking SQLs to monitor conversion effectiveness;
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance product knowledge, CRM expertise, and market understanding;
  • Participate in new initiatives and projects that align with Marketing objectives and Sales Development goals;
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of internal workflows and procedures;
  • Identify prospect's needs and educate them on the appropriate Bicom Systems solutions;
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities;
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and identify industry trends.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or presales role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or IT environment;
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and strong data management skills;
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with potential clients;
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with an interest in understanding market trends and buyer behavior;
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt in a dynamic, data-driven environment;
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


This is how you stand out:

  • Previous experience in a SaaS or Telecommunications company;
  • Additional languages (Ex: French, Spanish, Italian, German, etc.);
  • Understanding of lead scoring, sales funnels, and marketing-to-sales handoff best practices;
  • Experience with lead intent tools;
  • Experience working with international markets.
