Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Project Manager to be responsible for end-to-end project planning, execution, and oversight of IT infrastructure support initiatives. Manages cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful multi-site implementations, following established project management frameworks. Oversees risk, budget, scope, and change control; drives agile planning and conversion activities, ensures in-person stakeholder engagement, and leads regular reporting, financial forecasting, and transition planning.


Responsibilities:

• Own all aspects of detailed project planning, tracking, activity oversight, and reporting.

• Manage the project based on established project lifecycle methodologies, policies, standards, tools, and templates.

• Actively oversee project team members, vendors, and deliverables.

• Proactively plan detailed future project activities using an agile approach, including running conversions for multiple sites concurrently.

• Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of conversion objectives and approach.

• Gain formal stakeholder approval for scheduled conversions, with a preference for in-person engagement at site locations.

• Identify and resolve issues within one financial reporting period.

• Identify high-impact, high-probability risks to scope, budget, schedule, and benefits, and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.

• Track and manage the project to scope, budget, and schedule baselines.

• Formally manage project changes.

• Call and chair project meetings with technical services teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

• Regularly report on financial forecasting and overall project status.

• Define and measure project success criteria in collaboration with the project sponsor and stakeholders.

• Provide bi-monthly reporting to the project Steering Committee.

• Act as a change agent to manage stakeholder expectations and promote solution adoption.

• Document lessons learned and support knowledge transfer during the operational transition.

Deliverables:

• Develop and manage the implementation approach and roadmap, including concurrent site conversions.

• Define and execute the device migration strategy and plan.

• Prepare future project intake documents such as briefing notes, budget tools, and related materials.

• Create and maintain required project documentation, including project plans, status reports, forecasts, closure reports, and lessons learned.

• Document use cases, business requirements, and analysis.

• Define both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Utilize assessment tools, methodologies, documentation templates, and decision-making rubrics or guidance.

• Update the knowledge management database.

• Prepare and deliver the project operation handover document.

Qualifications:

Experience in

• Strong stakeholder engagement

• Process development, change management, project management.

• IP networking, network security or cybersecurity, systems analysis, design and migration

• Data center infrastructure, server architecture, storage and interdependencies

• Enterprise clinical/business application architecture

• Service management processes – change, issue management, CMDB
