As a Commissioning Project Manager – Building Systems, you will oversee diverse projects, working alongside engineering experts to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of building systems.
Your impact on a daily basis Planning and Coordination
- Coordinate commissioning activities for small- to large-scale projects.
- Update and communicate project progress to key stakeholders.
- Work closely withplanning and scheduling teams to develop and adjust project timelines.
- Prepare service proposals, technical specifications, and reports.
- Ensure technical supervision and verification of commissioning activities.
- Oversee the compliance of installations with performance standards and contract requirements.
- Participate in commissioning tests and trials, identify deficiencies, and ensure thorough follow-ups.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Attend construction meetings and propose process optimization solutions.
- Draft meeting minutes and maintain detailed documentation of tests and commissioning procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy efficiency, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years in building commissioning, engineering consulting, or energy management.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical building systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and organization.
- Leadership and teamwork abilities to support and mentor colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
- BCxP, CBCP, or RCx certification.
