Role description:
Our Waterloo office is a multi-disciplinary office where you will be providing a supporting role to the Planning group. You will be primarily focused on aggregate and resource planning, environmental assessment and community/agency consultation. The role would also include research of public policies, preparation of graphics and coordination of private land development applications.

The salary range for this position is $54,000-84,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Role description:

Role accountabilities:
- Support the planner in preparation for, participation at public consultation and organizing public and agency comments received through consultation meetings.
- Research, compile and analyze data on matters concerning land use.
- Assist in the preparation of graphics related to development application such as maps, charts etc.
- Review planning applications with respect to public policy and regulatory matters.
- Recent graduate from an Urban Planning Program
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent analytical and proven organization skills with accuracy as a priority.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Excellent computer and experience in computer graphics, data management and mapping.
