Operations Support Associate, Utility Locates (Remote)

Operations Support Associate

The Operations Support Associate, Utility Locates primary task will be screening for utility office clearances and Planning Tickets. Pre/post sketching of projects and other administrative tasks to be assigned based on business needs.

Position Summary

• Conduct accurate utility look up for multiple contracts and assign office clearances.
• Complete ON1Call Planning tickets within the province of Ontario, issuing mapping records for pre-engineering requests. (Currently on behalf of Enbridge Gas and Hydro One)
• Screen Relocate/Remark tickets to remove utility sketch pages as required, identify and associate multiple jobs in system.
• Enbridge Vital Main audits (VMA)
• Pre-sketching and Post sketching opportunities related to FTTH (Fibre Optic Cabling to the Home), SSI (Sewer Safety Inspector) or GIS projects and innovative technology trials.
• Provide segmentation/billing unit audit support if needed

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and time management skills are needed to successfully work in this deadline-driven environment.
• Prior work experience with mapping tools like GIS is an asset.
