PAL Aerospace is currently seeking a Contractor Field Officer (CFO) Lead for our Winnipeg, MB base.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain leadership and oversight of PAL Aerospace operations within the MOB, including aircraft maintenance, supply chain management activities, tool crib (control and calibration), tech library and more;
- Liaising with PAL Aerospace and RCAF to ensure effective operations and timelines/milestones are being met in an effective manner;
- Providing a strong sense of leadership and accountability to a team of PAL Aerospace professionals;
- Be accountable for budget management to ensure sound financial management including cost control to ensure costs do not exceed budget and financial targets are achieved;
- Provide guidance for the goals of the teams, and ensure they're moving the company forward
- Ensure clear and objective communication of goals, responsibilities, and timelines between all stakeholders, both internal and external; and
- Support the SAMEO to maintain responsibility and accountability for aircraft availability on a day-to-day basis.

- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, equivalent experience may be considered;
- Natural, strong and demonstrated leadership skills, coupled with the ability to motivate diverse teams to perform under strict timelines;
- Communication skills which are second to none, effectively working with team members of various backgrounds and experience;
- The ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities, while effectively motivating others to adhere to new targets;
- Experience in flightline aircraft maintenance environment is required;
- Capable of successfully being trained, qualified and authorized by the Contractor as per Canada approved Contractor’s APM;
- Capable of successfully completing DRMIS training as well as the Flight Safety Course (DND) to ensure SOW-1934 compliance;
- Capable of successfully obtaining Level II – Secret clearance; and
- Capable of successfully obtaining ITAR / CCG clearance.
- Experience working with RCAF will be considered an asset.
