Our team is currently looking for a highly organized individual for the role of Trade Marketing & Sales Coordinator. This is a full-time position reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Trade Marketing is an important department that acts as a conduit between Sales and Marketing. We support critical functions between these two teams, while leaning into creative and innovative thinking to further the presence of our various brands in the market. The Trade Marketing & Sales Coordinator role leans heavily on an organized workflow and requires strong communication between the Sales and Marketing departments, along with other important stakeholders in the company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist and support the Trade Marketing Manager, Brand Managers and Sales Team in the development, execution and coordination of leading retail and on-premises programs to deliver the targeted financial and strategic objectives for the organization.
- Manage key customer systems and platforms (e.g. the LCBO), such as programming applications and pricing adjustments.
- Manage all deadlines for liquor board marketing submissions and listing tender applications, including preparing planned applications, monitoring status, keeping record of outcomes and communicating outcomes to stakeholders within the organization.
- Update provincial promotional planning grids/marketing calendars based on planned, approved, rescheduled and declined brand activities.
- Coordinate production and implementation of marketing materials: POS, brand collateral, sell sheets etc., and external print/production and Creative (BTL) agencies as required.
- Assist teams within the organization in preparing and shipping samples, media packages, etc. Work with suppliers in ordering, coordinating delivery, and preparing appropriate customs and importation forms where necessary.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Post-secondary education in marketing or a related field would be an asset
- High level of organizational skills.
- Tech savvy with the ability to keep a meticulously organized digital workspace.
- Intermediate knowledge or Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- 3+ years’ experience in the beverage alcohol industry preferred (or CPG experience).
- Knowledge of LCBO systems (MPTS, NISS) is a strong asset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hybrid work arrangement (in-office 3 days per week at our central Oakville location).
- Must be able to lift 1 case of wine (+/- 16kg).
