Role description:
Our office in Markham is searching for a Civil Engineering student to join its growing team. You will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team. The group provides preliminary design services, detailed design services, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction and post construction services for civil work.

The salary range for this position is $20-25/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Role description:
Our office in Markham is searching for a Civil Engineering student to join its growing team. You will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team. The group provides preliminary design services, detailed design services, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction and post construction services for civil work.
Role accountabilities:
- Provide support to technical staff with various project tasks including;
- CAD drafting work
- researching, compiling and evaluating project data
- Preparing technical reports such as Functional Servicing Reports and SWM reports
- Performing design calculations for Storm, Sanitary and Water.
- Potential site visits for data collection and observation.
- Complete other administrative duties as required.
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
- Experience in technical software including AutoCAD, Civil3D.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
