About This Role

We are looking for a collaborative, energetic, and highly organised individual who is passionate about making a difference in the Just Eat - Courier space. This is an opportunity to work on a large, cross-functional initiative on the delivery platform with multiple delivery partners and markets. You will drive highly visible cross-functional and group initiatives with direct exposure to top leadership, focused on delivering a better and more consistent experience with our delivery partners. You'll sit across multiple, related, Agile development teams, working to ensure they are as effective, data-driven, and healthy as possible.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Winnipeg or Toronto office 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Technology Program Manager

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Lead cross-functional, global teams to drive commercial outcomes, collaborating with product, business analysis, delivery, design, engineering, finance, and legal teams.
  • Break down, sequence, and resource product and technical work to maximize business value, minimize risk, and meet company objectives.
  • Create and manage cross-functional program plans, addressing dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Foster collaboration across organizational and geographical boundaries to unify global teams and enable faster value delivery.
  • Review and realign processes, ways of working, and practices to ensure effective and lightweight agile delivery.
  • Manage stakeholders at peer and senior levels, providing regular progress reports; support Lead Delivery Manager and participate in the internal delivery community.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Experience in the technology, digital, e-commerce, or delivery industry
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple technical or digital projects and/or products that meet business outcomes and drive value for the business
  • Experience cultivating and facilitating Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies within software development teams
  • Peer, senior, and executive stakeholder management, including influencing, reporting, and communication.
  • Proven track record of working with distributed and remote development teams.
  • Work management tools such as JIRA
