Ready to bring your best?, Overview of the Role, Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Unlicensed Mechanic is responsible for the reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment., Schedule: Rotation 12 hour shift – 6 – 6, Weekdays and Weekends, Salary: $43.77/hr + Night Shift Premium, We support and take care of our employees and their families by offering:,

- Organized activities for employees and their families , How you will make contributions that matter:, Carries out reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance on plant equipmentTroubleshoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations to minimize downtimeCarries out equipment installations and modifications, repairing parts where necessaryWork effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safetyFollows company policies and safety-first culture while continuously improving standardsWorks effectively and collaboratively with other trades groups to complete project assignments.Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or assigned leadership designate, You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:, 5+ years working as a Mechanic or equivalent to Millwright experienceProven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant (preferred)Excellent trouble shooting skills able to work collaboratively with all departmentsHighly motivated initiator, able to work independently with minimum supervisionEffective communication skills, able to complete computer-based workorders, We support employment equity.
