As a Data Centre Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, Scheduled patrol , Access card issuance and writing reports, since you will be working with people all shift in Data Centre environment

- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal.
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Maintain a safe and Secure environment
- Issuing Access cards to Visitors and Employees.
- Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site.
- Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Be able to work Overnights
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- No Parking facility at the site
