Intern Full Stack Developer

Premier Construction Software – Markham, ON

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead Developer, the responsibilities for this internship role include:

• Assisting with product fixes and enhancements for the Premier Construction Software platform.
• Supporting the internal Support Team by developing basic SQL scripts to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
• Occasionally communicating with customers (internal and external) in a prompt and courteous manner, demonstrating a strong customer focus.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a College or University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with C# and the .NET Framework.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and basic querying techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel).
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10) is preferred; knowledge of OS X is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new concepts quickly.
• Customer-focused mindset, capable of adapting to evolving situations.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Interest or experience in Full Stack Development (front-end and back-end).
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or frameworks like React or Angular is considered an asset.
• Exposure to modern development practices such as RESTful APIs or cloud-based solutions is advantageous.
