We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Controller to oversee the daily production processes in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that production schedules are met, resources are efficiently utilized, and quality standards are maintained. The Production Controller will be responsible for tracking production activities, resolving any discrepancies, and collaborating with various teams to optimize workflow and minimize disruptions.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing work orders.
  • Coordinate with production teams, inventory control, and procurement, ensuring the correct materials are available for assembly.
  • Ensure the proper allocation of raw materials to support efficient production flow in the circuit card assembly process.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Track production progress, output, and efficiency of circuit card assembly lines, and report discrepancies or delays to management. -Maintain accurate records of production activities, between all manufacturing processes.
  • Perform daily transactions in an MRP system to maintain real-time status of circuit card assembly.
  • Prepare production reports to provide insight into manufacturing trends, quality issues, and areas for improvement in circuit card assembly production.

Inventory Management

  • Work closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels of electronic components and materials, reorder supplies to mitigate production interruptions in the circuit card assembly process.

What You Will Need

  • Post Secondary diploma related to Project Management or equivalent or current work experience in a similar role
  • CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) would be an asset
  • Three (3) years of production planning/inventory control experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
