In addition to this, the Internal Services Technician participates in support services such as deliveries to and from supply stores, financial institutions and performs build. maintenance general tasks.

About The Role
The Internal Services Technician is responsible for distributing internal mail and packages between the Altasciences sites. In addition to this, the Internal Services Technician participates in support services such as deliveries to and from supply stores, financial institutions and performs build. maintenance general tasks.
What You’ll Do Here
- Deliver internal mail between facilities and manage special deliveries as requested by the operations team.
- Assist with basic tasks like painting, and general maintenance such as replacing burnt lighting, replacing damaged or stained ceiling tiles, and assisting with office moves.
- Identify and report any requirements for major maintenance repairs.
- Conduct routine safety equipment inspections.
- Respond to maintenance requests submitted by clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the building maintenance team with general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, parking garages, and sidewalks.
- Monitor trash and recycling containers on company grounds and arrange for additional pickups when needed.
- Accompany contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and requirements.
- Join the on-call rotation and be available to address emergency maintenance issues and ensure facility safety outside regular hours.
- High school diploma completed
- Good communication skills in French and English
- Dependable, professional, acts with a sense of urgency.
- Needs to have a valid driver's license
- Well organized, with good interpersonal skills.
- Strongly GLP/GCP/ EHS -minded.
- Attentive to details.
- Good decision making and problem-solving ability.
- Customer-focused.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet navigation capabilities.
- Capable of being available for work on an emergency basis.
- Full time Regular position – 37,5 hours/week
- Available to travel to our Montreal Sites (1200 and 1100 Beaumont) and Laval Site (575 Armand-Frappier)
- To travel between sites, we provide the vehicle
