Clean Harbors is seeking a District Administrator to work out of our Guelph, ON branch. This position will provide overall administrative and clerical support to Field Services in Canada. They will ensure effective and efficient area operations including responsibility for general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work.

  • Point of contact for Regional, DVP and Branches to support system and administrative internal escalations/questions.
  • Point of contact for Corporate and GCC team members to support and resolve administrative escalations/questions.
  • Assist and support resolutions for customer escalated issues. Assure customer satisfaction, timely and accurate responses (invoice issues, PO’s, DSO, credit/rebills, short pays, difficult customer calls, etc.)
  • Assists business processes within the district pillar are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures. Drive consistent use of all systems (WIN, Mobile Worksheet, Workbenches, Onboarding, LMS Modules, etc.).
  • Lead training and implementation of new systems, procedures and strategic initiatives.
  • Work with SMEs to implement best practices and support to field.
  • Assure you all locations have proper administrative setup, supplies, forms, printers, scanners and other basic office equipment.
  • Recommend process, quality and service improvements.
  • Support branch initiatives and events as needed (large event, new large customer).
  • Assist branches in financial close process/questions (revenue/cost accruals, scrubbing P&L’s, intercompany reports).
  • Travel to struggling branches within district to assist.
  • Serves as Back-up support other District Admin and SMEs for vacations, LOA or increased workload coverage spikes.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting managers in a high-volume administrative capacity.
  • Financial experience highly preferred
  • Reliable transportation and comfortable commute to Guelph every workday.
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Waste Management industry experience is a strong asset.
