Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or similar in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or quantitative-related STEM field
• A growth mindset with a demonstrated history of trying different and challenging things
• Eager to work with financial models and data
• Effective listening skills
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in data querying from S4 SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, and Azure.
• Develop expertise in data modeling and reporting, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud, MS Power BI, and MS Power Apps.
• Maintain master data and actively monitor system performance to troubleshoot issues.
• Learn about Suncor’s key financial planning processes in order to support Financial Analysts and Portfolio Planners across the company.
• Help the team implement improvements in financial models, reports, and planning processes.
  
  

Location and key Details:

• This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
• This position is security sensitive which requires you to clear a criminal history check
• Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
